Update in Paulina Rubio Case

One of the big cases I was working on has come to an end, as Paulina Rubio entered a confidential settlement in the lawsuit we filed against her for missing a concert in Colombia.
The Latin singer was sued by Miami businessman Carlos Gutierrez and several Colombian organizations who lost hundreds of thousands of dollars when Rubio missed her flight and didn’t show up for a scheduled concert in Tunja in 2010.
Even though the singer claimed she was not personally liable, Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Abby Cynamon ruled that was question for a jury.
